Is Sand & Lava a store? No, Sand & Lava started as an online store for second-hand and second-hand women's clothing, but stopped selling in October 2024. The Sand & Lava website is currently only a place for boho style inspiration. This is purely a hobby, in addition to my job. Almost all photos on the website are made with the help of AI.

I hope you get inspired to create your own look. By "shopping" in your own closet, swapping, shopping second-hand, making or pimping yourself and yes, buying something new every now and then is of course also fun 😉

Where can I find these clothes?

All photos are made with the help of AI. The exact items in the photos are therefore not for sale anywhere. With Sand & Lava I especially want to show that a boho style is for everyone. Regardless of age, size and who or where you are.

I hope to inspire you in your style journey, by using what you already have in your closet, swapping, making or pimping, or shopping second-hand. And of course there is nothing wrong with buying a great new piece every now and then.

What exactly is the Sand & Lava Boho Island Vibes Lifestyle?

A vibe is of course mainly a feeling, but I have made an attempt to capture it in words for you. Click here to read the entire article/explanation.

Where does the name Sand & Lava come from? The name Sand & Lava was inspired by Lanzarote. Beyond my love for this volcanic island, its colors (sand, black, white, earthy tones, and green) are truly my colors, both in fashion and interior design. With an occasional bold piece, because why not? Sand & Lava is always in motion, just like the sea and life.

From February 20, 2025 - I am taking a time-out with Sand & Lava for an indefinite period. So that I can think about whether, and how, I want to continue Sand & Lava as a hobby.

So for the time being, no new updates on the website, newsletters and also no new posts on social media.

I choose not to give a personal answer to messages/mails during this period. Sometimes you have to completely disconnect from something.

As you can imagine, a lot of time goes into Sand & Lava. In addition to my family and friends, a job, household, DIY on our house, staying fit, traveling, and other hobbies.

I am not very good at doing something a little, always full in. In the coming period I choose to make different choices and spend my time differently and see how that works out. After this period (I estimate 3 to 6 months) I will of course let you know, via the website, newsletter and social channels, what the outcome is.
